Artur Smoliyaninov

Artur Smoliyaninov — actor, musician, and above all, a Human with a capital H. He became widely known for his many striking performances on stage and screen. But in recent years, his name has taken on a very different meaning.

In 2022, Artur spoke out openly against the war. For this, he was stripped of his profession, branded a “foreign agent” and “extremist,” and forced to leave Russia. “Most likely, forever,” he says.

And yet, despite everything, Artur found the strength not only to continue, but to begin anew. He recorded music, formed the band cheLovek, shot videos, stepped onto the stage with new songs and a new inner voice.

Today he tours the world with a program he calls cinema-rock: every song is like a short film, with its own character and its own dramatic arc. His music is alive, sincere, written to his own lyrics, performed with guitar in hand. It’s a story passed through the heart. A conversation soul to soul.

At his concerts, Artur doesn’t just sing. He tells stories, answers questions, speaks to the audience as to friends — warmly, openly, without masks. Each evening is an encounter filled with light, nostalgia, humor, and hope.

Music. An honest conversation. And the strength to remain yourself.
